27th May, 2026: Dr. R K Tyagi has assumed charge as Director General of power Foundation of India, an autonomous Society under the aegis of Ministry of Power, Govt. of India. Prior to this role, he superannuated as Chairman & Managing Director of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited and also served as Director (Operations) and Executive Director (North-Eastern Region).

29th May, 2026: Shri Ratan Shome, Principal – Data Analytics, was accorded a warm farewell on the occasion of his superannuation from Power Foundation of India. Colleagues expressed their appreciation for his dedicated service and valuable contributions, and extended their heartfelt best wishes for a happy, healthy, and fulfilling future.

Dr. Tyagi took the opportunity to present PFl's recent initiatives and ongoing activities, reinforcing the organisation's close alignment with national energy priorities.
